FOUNDER

Lisa Grygiel, has a background in both the fine and decorative arts, with a BA in Art History and an MA in the History of Decorative Arts and Design. Gallery experience in New York City and Washington, D.C. inspired her art advisory and interior design business in 2013.

A passion for the home and caring for peoples’ possessions led Lisa to a position with The Potomack Company Auction House and in 2020 Lisa opened Potomack New York Auctions to serve consignments from NY, NJ, and CT.

In 2023, Lisa founded Culper’s Online Auctions & Estate Sales in her hometown, Manhasset, NY to assist local friends and families in needed of selling items from their homes in a timely manner, understanding their value, and placing them in the right hands.

MARKETING DIRECTOR

Christine received her BA in English from Lafayette College. She worked at Kratz & Company, Magnet Communications, and Euro RSCG Magnet representing New York City celebrity chefs, fine restaurants, luxury hotels, wine & spirts, and non-profit clients. Her many years of public relations and marketing experience often placed her on the sets of national morning shows, working with food, lifestyle, and business journalists to develop news stories for her clients as well as creating and executing launch and media events. Christine joined Culper's in 2023.

SPECIALIST & CATALOGUER

Caryn Cortegiano received her MA in the History of Decorative Arts from Parsons School of Design in 2003. She worked as an appraiser at O’Toole-Edwald Art Associates where she gained experience assessing decorative arts including antique furniture, porcelain, glass and silver. Caryn joined Culper’s in 2023.
